Suspension clamps are gold fittings used to fix the wires on insulator strings or to secure the lightning conductors against tension and to fix jumpers on corner pole towers.
The suspension clamp should meet the following technical requirements:
①The overhang angle is not less than 25.
②The radius of curvature is not less than 8 to 10 times the diameter of the wire to be installed;
③The grip of different wires
The percentage of the calculated breaking force of the force and the wire should not be less than the values in Table 3-3. Percentage of gripping force of suspension wire and calculated breaking force of wire
